During our stay, we had the pleasure of experiencing the excellent service and hospitality at Saranya River House. The owner was extremely knowledgeable about the area and provided us with valuable information to enhance our visit. We were also impressed with the owner's efforts in arranging a private long boat down the Kok river to Chiang Mai, which was a memorable experience. the owner went above and beyond by personally cooking breakfast for our group, making us feel truly welcomed. The staff as a whole were lovely and the atmosphere was delightful. For the price, it was definitely a very enjoyable stay.

We had a great stay in a quiet location by the river, just a stone's throw from the main street and bus station. the staff was helpful and friendly, and the owner organized an enjoyable boat tour down the river. Our room was well-maintained and clean, with a keycard lock and comfortable bedding. Breakfast was a la carte and served cold, but the pool was refreshing and had a nice view of the river.
The hairdryer provided in the room was old and ineffective.

Enjoyed a comfortable and affordable stay for the weekend. The staff were very helpful and gave great advice on local transport options. The hotel's prime location by the river made it easy to take in lovely boat trips and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The friendly staff also provided suggestions for restaurants offering local dishes, adding to the authenticity of the experience. a great weekend experience.
The hotel could use some renovation as the decor felt a bit dated. Additionally, the breakfast offered was not up to standard--cold and unappetizing. Despite these issues, the family-owned hotel provided helpful and friendly service, making up for some of the shortcomings.

The breakfast was decent and the staff was friendly. the location of the hotel was amazing, right in the heart of the town and near the boat pier. the scenery was wonderful.
The rooms were not well-maintained, and the decor was quite outdated. the noise from the lobby/restaurant area was quite audible in the rooms, which made it quite difficult to get a good night's sleep.

I had a wonderful stay at a hotel located right by the river, and the boat trips were incredibly convenient. The location is great as it’s close to the main street, but is still a quiet area. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated, which made for a pleasant stay. The hotel facilities, including the refreshing swimming pool and helpful staff who arranged transportation to Chiang Rai, were fantastic.
Nothing negative to say.
